This web site is dedicated to sharing with you our ministry of helping to feed, clothe, shelter, and educate impoverished and orphaned children in the Central American country of Guatemala.

Our efforts are in the spirit of Saint Francis and Saint Clare of Assisi, Italy.

Well, it has been a long time since our last update. Upon returning from Guatemala last August, we discovered that we were unable to make any updates to the website. This has been a long period of frustration for many people, least of all those of you who waiting to hear some news from Chichi. The problem appears to be resolved now, although no one seems to know what the problem actually was…

The biggest news to report is that construction has begun on the new classrooms building. We hope to have a bit more updated information for you in the next week or so, so stay tuned!

In other news, the Children of God Committee has come to the decision that we need to raise the sponsorship amount from $30 to $35 per month. This is the first time we have asked to raise the monthly sponsorship fees since the inception of this mission. We understand that times are very difficult right now, but the economic pain is felt especially hard in the poor regions of Guatemala.
