Dear Friends, After receiving a copy of your manual OUTSIDERS LOOKING IN, I wanted to write and thank you for your tireless efforts, your co-ordination and editing skills in presenting this most outstanding book. I'm sure it will be a God-send to many people who are, for one reason or the other, caught-up in the prison system in our Country. Unlike yourselves, who have letters after your names, I found my way into Mental Health service by way of "hard knocks". However, for over 33 years I've committed myself to the local schools, hospitals, nursing homes, jails and prisons in Indiana and elsewhere. It is my sincere hope that through education, we can change this society into worth-while citizens instead of the crime and escalating violence we see on the streets today. The criminal is becoming younger and younger. The break-down of the family and lack of direction our youth are taking is an indication of where we are headed.
