It doesn't matter how horrible or vicious a person's crime might be, the families and friends of the accused have not been convicted nor even accused of the crime. Just as it is not right for the victim of the crime to have to suffer, it is equally not right for the loved ones of the accused to suffer. They did nothing wrong.

Yet suffer they do. Millions of people who didn't do the crime. Often they suffer terribly. Often they suffer needlessly. Often their lives are ruined.
