Health Program

Basic Nutritional approach:

Fresh fruits and vegetables, garlic (organic when available, raw or lightly cooked)

Several glasses of fresh vegetable juice (carrot, beet, greens, etc)

Several glasses of pure water each day

Whole grains, millet B-17, brown rice, whole durum pasta

Nuts, seeds, almonds, beans-if not vegan, meat, fish, foul, free range eggs

Yogurt, cottage cheese, raw milk & cheese ground flax seed, fermented food-sauerkraut

Walk or exercise outside one hour a day in fresh air and natural light. Avoid processed foods.

Meditation, prayer or positive reflection helps the immune response.

 

Basic Supplements:

Multi Vitamin Mineral Formula (without iron)

Ultra flora (bifidus and acidophilus cultures....if not eating plain yogurt)

Vit C 1000mg 3x per day with meals

Vit E 400iu 2x per day

CoQ10 120 2x per day

Betacarotene 25000iu 1-2x per day (cell repair)

Selenium 200mcg 1x per day (anti-oxident)

Garlic-many a day

 

Other Supplements:

B complex-100mg with meals per day, if vegan extra B-12

Omega 3 oils (flax seed and oil, borage oil, natural salmon etc.)

Shark Cartilage, Pycnogenol, SOD (Superoxide dismutase-helps destroy free radicals)

Barley Green (vit min enzymes for alkaline ph)

 

Immune Support:

Garlic (fresh and supplement)

MSR: Maitake, Shitake, Reishi mushrooms

Beta glucan (Baker's Yeast cell wall)

Pure organic virgin Coconut Oil a few tablespoons a day

Specific Formulations:

AI (Bromelain:100mg-200mg, Quercetin 250mg-1000mg , Curcumin 250mg-1000mg

RM-10 (immune +)

Oncolyn (Proanthocyanidins 100 mg, Plant Saponins 100 mg, Plant Polyphenols 100 mg)

 

Botanicals:

Hoxsey formula or Essiac tea, mistletoe (viscum album)

Artesminin 200mg-1000mg per day (not within 4wks of  radiation tx)

PH testing strips to check  PH (alkalinity)... increases with fruits, vegetables

 

Classical Homeopathic Medicine: As prescribed

 

Natural food sources of anti-oxidants:

Vit C:broccoli, peppers, strawberries, currants, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, greens(spinach, chard, kale etc.), parsley, citrus fruits (oranges, lemons)..

Vitamin E: wheat germ, nuts, peanuts, seeds, whole grains, rice, soybeans

Selenium: seafood, brewer's or nutritional yeast

Beta-carotene: : sweet potatoes, carrots, spinach, squash, kale, turnips, beet

greens, mango, papaya, cantaloupe, dried apricots, mustard greens, collards,

spinach broccoli, tomatoes, nectarines, prunes, tangerines asparagus.

Excessive alcohol and caffeine is not advised but some studies have shown beer, (natural unfiltered) and wine to improve health. Green tea has antioxidant properties. Avoid sugar and white flour.
