This is my drinking horn, hallowed to Odin Odhroerir's Gainer. The silverwork style is based on ancient models. I have had this horn for over 20 years...it is well seasoned indeed. I never have lined it with beeswax. I prefer its natural "flavour". The horn came from my uncle's cattle. The good folks who did the silverwork and fitting of the horn to my specifications are Laurie and Kirby Wise of Bouse, Arizona. Kirby is a legendary bladesmith, and Laurie is an artist in silver and scholar of old Norse and Germanic ornamentation styles.
