Starting in January, 2009, ODA received major media attention for taking a leadership role in the removal of a huge derelict fishing net sunk off Catalina in 2006 during a commercial fishing accident.  Although sunk in 150 feet of water, the mindless net continues to ensnare and kill victims, including several protected marine mammals and countless fish.

Below are links to the various media stories (online, print, radio, television) that can be discovered via the internet.  We apologize if any of the links do not work - media websites tend to retire links after a certain amount of time.

Please check back soon for additional stories about the Infidel net recovery and many other exciting ODA developments.  Thank you!
