Suburban Dog Training Club is a nonprofit organization offering lessons to members and nonmembers at a reasonable cost. Classes
are held in our own heated, air-conditioned, fully-matted building in Wyndmoor, PA which is easily accessible from Philadelphia
and the northwest suburbs.
Our mission is to encourage obedience training of both purebred and mixed-breed dogs, to conduct classes for training dogs
and their handlers and to provide, by way of our demo teams, entertainment for schools and for people in charitable institutions,
nursing homes and hospitals.
Our classes range from Puppy Kindergarten, for those who want to start their puppies out well-socialized, to Beginner classes
which teach you to train your dog to be a better-behaved pet, to formal obedience training at the Novice, Open and Utility
levels of competitive Obedience showing.

Suburban offers a variety of special classes and events to both members and non-members. We offer CGC (Canine Good Citizen)
testing. Special classes include Rally Obedience, Attention, Heeling, and Retrieving. Members have access to agility equipment
for "fun" agility practice. Run-throughs are held regularly. Events include outdoor Spring and Fall Fun Matches,
frequent indoor Show-N-Go Matches, Annual Banquet, Picnic, Veterans Night and Halloween Party.
