Tracking camp 2009! This will be our 3rd annual tracking camp here at the GG Iron
Water Ranch.
Beginners camp October 1-5 , Advanced October 8-11, October 6-7 Skills for Track
Laying. I will only take 10 dog and handler teams for beginners, and 6
dog and handler teams for advanced.
Reservations now being taken for the seminar and for working spots. If you work the beginners
camp you get the advanced camp free, if you work the advanced camp you get the beginner camp free. All spots are first
come first serve.
Tracking camp price $500.00 includes meals.

Dog Training Made Easy
Hi I am Gail Workman, Owner and training instructor of Dog Training Made Easy. I have
experience in many methods of training. I keep up dated on all the new methods available, as well as using the older traditional
methods. I believe a good intructor should have knowledge of and be able to use all tools available to pair you
and your dog for the best up to date training program available. Below you will find a few of my classes available.

Clicker Training
-A positive and motivational method of training your dog
-based on the theory of Pavlovs dog.
-Creats a dog that offers good behaviors.
-Clicker training creats a happy thinking dog.
-Teaches you perfect timing
-Clicker bridges the gap between a behavior and a reward to get the best results.
-Teaches you about behavior that you can use towards all pets and children

For puppies 3-5 months old
-Puppies will learn basic commands Come, Sit, down, leave it, Wait, Stay,
-will work on behavioral issue, no jump (off), biting, chewing, digging, barking, crate training.
-Puppies will have the oppertunity to socialize (earn play time) with other puppies, puppy will learn
to come when called out of play.
-We will work on proper handling puppy for grooming and teeth brushing.

Traditional obedience class
Heeling-learn how to use a leash and training collar (choke chain) properly, for the safety of your dog.-Teach your dog
to Respect the leash (Walk on a loose leash)
-Heeling-Doodling (Turns in Place)-Turns while heeling-pace changes-Figure 8-Automatic Sit
Basics positions-Sit, Sit Stay, -Down, Down Stay-Stand, Stand Stay
House Rules- Off!- Leave it!- Wait- Come when called
- This class will teach your dog to be a canine good citizen in your home and in public

Canine Good Citizen ,
To take the Canine Good Citizen Class you dog must have some training already, The class will take you through
each test and help you work on the area's needed to pass the CGC Test, this is a 6 week class, a CGC test will be offered
on the 7th week.
Rally Obedience,
Your dog must have some training to take this class
The Rally classe uses obedience training skills to manuever through a set coarse. This is a great
place to start if you are interested in showing your dog in AKC obedience.
what you will need to bring to class
lesson #1 Will be without dogs so I can teach you without the distractions of
the dogs.
For Class 2 we will discuss more in detail at class 1, but here are some things you
may need.
6 foot leash, leather or nylon (NO Chain Leashes) (NO Flexi Leashes)
collar for training (choke chain) or (martingale)
for puppies under 5 months a no slip puppy collar(Martingale) or Buckle
callor, Harness is ok for small dogs and puppies.
lots of tasty treats small and soft
DO NOT FEED DOG AT LEAST 2 HOURS BEFORE CLASS, WE WANT THEM HUNGRY.
HAVE A POOP BAG TO CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG IF NEEDED.
