For the first time ever - I participated in a survey and received $125 in cash! I find this to be very cool. This all took place in a bonafide survey company office located in the John Hancock building down on Michigan Avenue. Being inside the Hancock building was also a first for me. To celebrate I have ordered a pizza which should arrive at any moment... Tomorrow is the day I go sign the lease for my new apartment and then, Saturday is the yard sale. Believe me by Sunday I will be ready to chill!

I'm thinking about trying DSL. Speed would not be the primary reason I would want DSL. I would want it because I think it would save me money on my phone bill in the long run. Here in Chicago we pay for every call we make - long distance or not. The added speed would simply be a bonus. I stopped at CompUSA on my way to the survey tonight. Just wanted to see what kind of desktop systems are being sold now. I really didn't see anything that grabbed me. Perhaps my next computer will be one I put together myself.
