Today was a long day. I was up at 4 AM today because the place where I work had a photographer in to take pictures of the entire company this morning at 6:15 AM and I was responsible for picking up the donuts, orange juice, etc. I think I had a bad hair day for my picture - OOOOOh Well!!!!
I don't know about the rest of the 50 states or the other cities in Illinois, but Chicago was hot and humid today. If you've read some of my previous entries then you know by now that I am single, frugal, somewhat sentimental and definately a nutcase. Ok maybe I'm not really a nutcase. I just don't know what to tell you today. Today I feel as if I'd like to escape into a computer game for about 2 or 3 days... I'd like to be somebody else for about 48 hours.
You know that's what I did on long weekends when I first started using a computer - I'd get a new computer game, order pizza and play all weekend long - well into the early morning. This is when I lived in Kennesaw, Georgia with my older brother Dave. When I got stuck I'd call the hint line. That's one of the really cool things about owning a computer. There are so many games from the last 5 years that are either very inexpensive or sometimes even free to download. I had quite a bit of fun with games from Dynamix,Legend and Sierra. Man alive! Those were fun games.
