Hello. I'm back from my vacation to Panama City Beach in Florida. I had a great time just being at the beach and kickin back. Took a jet-ski out on the ocean and saw dolphins swimming. That was very cool. I found some shells too. Finding shells is fun.
So, now it's back to work and in just a couple weeks I'll be calling a new street and building "home". It won't really seem real until I'm there. This place I've lived in for the past 5 years has seemed more like my own home than probably anyplace I've lived since the house I grew up in.
One of my oldest and best friends lost her dad a few days ago. I don't think you're ever really ready for that. His death has made me think about a lot of things - including how quickly this life passes. The bible says we are like the grass that flowers one day and withers the next.
One of my favorite songs right now is on a Carolyn Arends CD. It goes sort of like this So much to learn in this modern age. So much has changed, yet more remains the same. We all still search for happieness. So I keep comin back to this. HOPE and LOVE make life worth livin. Lack thereof - makes a man grow old. GOD is GOOD, yeah and JESUS LOVES ME this I know.
