Wheels of Neopia

This guide will reveal some tips about the wheels in Neopia and if they truly are worth spinning!

Wheel of Excitement: This is an average wheel that is worth spinning. Usually all it does it damage your pets, but once in a while, you’ll get either 10, 000 neopoints and the avatar or maybe even a rare item! I’ve gotten 10,000 neopoints multiple times and I have also gotten a Snowager Stamp, which I sold for 45,000 neopoints. Just about every time you spin this wheel, you will get the “Mystery Prize,” which consists of some neopoints, but not more than what you pay for the wheel. Regardless of how many neopoints you get, it is still a loss of neopoints. Spinning this wheel costs 150 NP and you can only play it once every 2 hours.

Wheel of Mediocrity: This is, in my opinion, not worth spinning unless you are willing to lost some neopoints. If you feel lucky, then go for it, because you might win the grand prize, a total of 1,000 neopoints!! It might not seem like that much, but you’ll also get an EXTREMELY rare avatar! You can use this wheel at the small price of 40 neopoints and you can spin this wheel every 40 minutes.

Wheel of Knowledge: This is one of the best wheels out there. Although it is not likely that you will win a Brightvale Job Coupoon, you will sometimes win books or maybe even scrolls! If you ARE lucky to win a job coupon, I suggest selling it. You can make a nice 150k from an average coupon! Take notice that usually when you spin this wheel, you will end up with only a pointless game tip or berry. If the wheel stops at the Brightvale flag, then you win a rare avatar! You can spin this wheel at the cost of 500 neopoints and you can only do it once every 24 hours.

Wheel of Monotony: This is definitely the SLOWEST wheel released by Neopets. It may stop in 30 minutes, or it might even stop 4 hours later! Because the wheel is so slow, I recommend you to close the window in which the wheel is spinning in and go here. To receive your prize, simply visit this page. You will get your prize when the time reduces to 0. You can get a variety of rare items, such as a Tyrannian Paint Brush, petpet paint brushes, a Mazzew, 20,000 neopoints, or even a secret avatar! This wheel is awesome! Playing this costs 100 neopoints, but you can only play it once every 24 hours.

I definitely think the Wheel of Monotony is the best. It has the best prizes, but there are some bad parts to it. It may give you some stupid items, or even cut your neopoints current hit points in half! But, considering that it is only 100 neopoints, I suggest you use this wheel once every day. Once in a while, you get something very rare!

Avatars: If you are a rare avatar collector, then wheels are your best source! There are four possible avatars that you can earn, one from each wheel. To get the Wheel of Excitement avatar, just wish for 10,000 neopoints. The avatar comes automatically with the neopoints that you will receive. To get the Wheel of Mediocrity, just receive 1,000 neopoints and, like the Wheel of Excitement, the avatar comes with it. If you want the avatar for the Wheel of Knowledge, the wheel will have to stop on the flag picture. As for the Wheel of Monotony’s avatar, you’ll just need to be plain lucky. You may get the avatar as a random event while spinning the Wheel of Monotony.
