So....You wanna be a Neopian Hero a hotshot eh? well if you do.. then this game is for you. This is Defenders of Neopia a game where you get missions from the crime fighters of neopi athe defenders of neopia as the title suggests. Your job is to find the crooks and villians who cause trouble in Neopia and Smoke those fools. In Return you recieve a snazzy trophy and say to your friends look omg i beat teh n00bl4r omgzzz!!!111 but seriously the trophy does look nice on ur lookup and this can be frustrating and fun at the same time and thats what this guide is from i have not beaten everything yet so i will update but for those of you who are just starting this should get you far enough. Now with that said lets get down to bussiness:

First to beggin with the first few enemies pretty much are not much harder than eachother so to get it over with i suggest you get your pets stats in the 20's GREAT range to take out the newbie enemies dont get too comfortable though THEY WILL get harder.( PS. all stats should be in the 20s except for HP which should be decenetly more.)

This is your first opponent and can be quite hard to get. He sometimes is in the battledome as default so before u you get too frustrated looking for him look there first. If not he wil apear ina random event and steal something and then challenge you. BE SURE YOUR INVENTORY IS CLEAR OF ALL EXPENSIVE ITEMS and walk around for a bit or get an autorefresher and leave it on 24/7 and check the battledome often to see if you got him.

Strategy: Ok this guy is a pushover buy some basic newbie weapons like scarab rings and sticky snowballs and a leaf shield maybe and bombard him till he dies congratz you will now get this not soo snazzy but still something trophy.

For the upcoming battles i sugest you get burrow buyhaving a pet at least lvl 25 and giving him a few earth faeries. Buy a Leaf shield if u didnt get it from illusens quest and get a scroll of freezing u may not need it this battle but the next few you will. Ok start by freezing him if you think it is needed and using burrow. While frozen bombard him with sticky snowballs/ other weapons you may have if you have good weapons then it is easier for you. Congratz you get another trophy.

For this battle i suggest u lvl up to stats in the 30's because the battles will only get harder. This is where burrow comes in since he uses earth type attacks. He is a bit harder but ibasically use the same strategies as before for another trophy.

This is where it gets alittle harder. He can be annoying because he is a bit harder to fight and and hard to find unless you are lucky. The way you find him is your pet has to have the sneezles and when you go on your pets lookup he will be there but the problem is getting the sneezles is totally random even with items that make your pet sick. My friend put a pet with sneezles in the pound a LONG time ago and i checked like 2 weeks ago and he might still be there so if you need the pet PM me and please make sure to share with other members who need it. Now for fighting him, if your stats are in the 30s and your HP is significntley higher you should be fine but what seperates him from toher opponents is that he has a few decent weapons like meuka snot trail which does about 9 icons. First turn use burrow/leaf shield and scroll of freezing to freeze that piece of snot. Next turn bombard him with sticky snowballs whcih may not kill him this turn. Next turn bombard him with snowballs again and if ur HP is what i recommended his attack shouldnt kill you and this should finish him off and if not go another round with bombarding him. You will get another avie and trophy which loooks pretty nice this time around.

For the upcoming battles it is important for your pet to learn burrow because ALOT of what you are going to fight next uses dark icons and for those of you who dont know sink defends against light and dark icons. Also your stats should be in the 50s-70s and HP eve higher than that You should also stop using the basic weapons like snowballs it is time for you to buy good weapons that can be used over and over for ex. Honey Potion, Ramtors spell book, Bow of Destiny etc. they will become essential.

Now the most important part. The strategies for the next fights will basically be the same and i will tell you them in advance. I will introduce a few new items to you that will be very useful. the first one is Thick Smoke Bomb and it will be very useful to you it is one use and defends all icons like a thyoras Tear. The next item is amulet of life or lucky robots foot bot items heal your HP to full and both items are one use. when u are in trouble or low on HP use the amulet or use the smoke bomb and use a weapon along with it.I usually wait till my hp is very low to use amulet so i get as many cnhances to attack as possible but this will be all in your hands because only you know how strong ur pet is and how much hp i will have left and use those items according to that. So your basic strategy should be this:
1st Turn: Burrow or Sink according to the type of icosn the enemy does you can find that info at: http://idb.finalhit.org/?searchtype=oneplayer then freeze the enemy
2nd Turn: Bombard him with everything you got
3rd Turn : if you think you can handle it bombard him again
Next Turns: Give him all you got but if your HP is low use ur amulet or smoke bomb+ weapon and keep fighting until he is dead. Now for the next opponent.

You get this guy by completing one of his quests and the answers for his quests come from doing 2 quests for the Esophigor. IF you have been following what i was saying this should be no problem use the strategy i told you before and you will be fine.

Again isnt too much harder use the strategy and you will be dandy for now....

Welcome to your first hard fight . You have to go on a tour on mystery island to get him so for this battle i suggest stats in the 80's and HP at 100. His best weapons are tekkitu bag 11 icons most dark, purple scorchstone, and Tekkitu mask which defends 5 light icons,5 earth icons and 2 physical icons and 3 possible physicall icons so it may be best not to use those icons. remember to burrow and use the strategy i told you about for a shiny gold trophy.

Go to the trap door here http://www.neopets.com/desert/tr4pd00r.phtml to get them( you may have to refresh). Boy i hate them alot and i mean alot. Have stats in the low 100s or higher and hp at 150 or higher. They have items that do 11+ icons and can freeze you which mkaes them especially annoying. Good luck and use a smart use of the strategy i gave and when u beat them you get one of 2 possible avies and a trophy give yourself a pat on the back but dont celebrate yet.

ok before you start i would like to tell you man i feel bad for you. This guy is HARD. Be sure to have 200 HP and at least 125 strength and defense boost. He uses Ghostkersword , Ghostkershield, Ghostkerbomb , Jade Scorchstone which means he can heal to full and Prismatic Mirror which reflects all icons back at you s be careful but the ghostker items use are tricky cuz they dont foocus on one stat but i would suggest burrow since ghostkerbomb uses earth icons and and Ghostkersword uses alot of wind so burrow will be very useful. From there be smart and ur gole here is not to let him do maximum dmg to you or u will be dead in no time. You may need very advanced battledome weapons like Sword of Skardsen and it may be time for you to get a multi use freeze weapon like h4k. Once you win you will get another gold trophy and another pat on the back because a little break is coming up.

Go to neopias moon and refresh to get him. OK this is a joke. this is a pushover they are extremely weak the only reason they are over ghostkerchief is because it is a clone so you have to fight multiple ones before you actually win but they are pushovers just use the strategy if neccesary.

OK i HATE THIS PIECE Of DUNG I HATE HIM I HATE HIM I HATE HIM. to find him go to the advent calender and refresh ALOT if you thought garoo was bad this is 1000x worse i searched wevery day for about a month and couldnt get him. I eventually did and was hapy until i had to fight him. burrow comes in really handy because his strong items use water and wind icons. Have stats in the 200s and 250 boost may be handy i did it with less and with difficulty but i suggest those to be safe and of course higher hp. His block of ice weapon does 23 icons and a random freeze rate yes IT IS that bad. He also has a Jade Scorchstone and a Snow Beast Horn which does 29 icons yes even worse than the block of Ice thats why burrow is essential he also has a Werelupe Necklace which does 5 Dark icons, 3 Earth icons, 5 fire icons and one Physical icon with 4 more potential physical icons totaling a maximum 18 icons. I also suggest you get the Werelupe Necklace because it uses a large variety of icons. BE SMART use burrow often and have patience because again your goal even more than last time is to not let him do maximum dmg to you. Use the Strategy wisely and get a disapointingly bronze Trophy

Giant Hungry Malevolent Chomby: 350 Hp(Try saying that 5 times fast)

User Posted Image You get this guy by refreshing at the giant Omlette. Now what im about to say may frighten you but his bark is worse than his bite. OK his equipment like i said dont get frightened because i am about to bring you some good news. Seasonal Attack Pea, Sword of Skardsen, Jade Scorchstone, Thyoras Tear, Crap Items. MAKE SURE U BRING A PURPLE STICKY HAND OR HIGHER IF U WANT BECAUSE YOU STEAL HIS THYORAS TEAR FROM HIM WITH THAT. This is good because you can use it against him but more importantly he cant use it against you. If u are in my rich category (sorry for the segregation) this will be no problem becaus even though he has good items his super low hp vs ur SoS and more = Him dead in no time. Use burrow against his Pea if u want if you think u cant handle it. For those of you wh dont have that...... Ok use the strategy wisely because he can cause some nice dmg with his pea use btoh burrow and sink to avoid his SoS too but since the pea does a tad bit more dmg i would recommend that. if u have 250 boost this will not bee too hard because it will sufficiently multiply the power of ur scarab rings and so on. Be sure to freeze him and good luck. When you beat him get ur trophy and move on.

Mootix Warrior: 375 Hp

User Posted Image This guy is an automatic challenger so u dont have to worry about finding him. OK this guy is small but dont under estimate him unless you are one of the rich people (again sorry for the segrigation).
His Weapons include: Faerie Slingshot ( hope it doesnt get a strong hit) Ice Dice ( dont worry about these and i will tell you why in alittle bit) Mootix Warrior Armour (Same effect as a Thyoras Tear) Mootix Warrior Spear (10 Earth Icons, 10 fire icons 1 Physical icon with 9 more possible physical icons) and a crap load of expensive furniture although i dont know why but what i do know is that i would like to own it. STEAL FROM HIM BECASUE YOU STEAL HIS ICE DICE FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DONT HAVE TOO MANY NP. Again SoS + 250 boost + crappy 375 Hp = 0wn4g3. Those without it use burrow to negate his faerie slingshot so you better hope it does a weak hit and more imprtantly burrow to almost completely negate his spear which is pretty much his most powerful weapon. Use ur scroll of freezing/h4k etc. first turn and use ice dice every few turns after and burrow alot if needed and you will beat him. You will get a trophy of a very angy looking Mootix. Hey, i would be mad if i lost to me too.

Kastraliss: 400 Hp

This guy is a pushover compared to the last couple of opponents yo faced mainly because his weeapons dont even compare to the prevoius ones u had to face and he isnt much stronger either.NO NEED TO STEAL HERE The onlyl thing he has to worry about is his freezing potion so be careful when frozen and Pirate Captains Cutlass which can be almsot completely negated with burrow. he also has a sludge bomb (3 water, 2 wind, 3 earth, and 1-2 physical totalling 9-10 icons which isnt really much0 and he also has the usual Jade Scorchstone. with SoS ec he is jsut a stupid garden snake so freeze and burrow if neccesary and use the strategy and that should take care of him. Similar with those who dont have SoS etc. just a longer fight thats all and u may have to use amulet of life when he bashes who when ur frozen and just use burrow a bit more often. Wtf?!?! what kind of trophy is this it is green and looks like a garden snake not Kastraliss but i guess a trophy is a trophy. Now for the final opponent arent you excited?

Slug Monster: 500 Hp

User Posted Image To get him, refresh at the Slug Monster "Go Away" page in Maraqua with Slug Flakes in your inventory. Credit to In-Depth Battlepedia for that. For the final Opponent this guy is SOOOO easy. The only thing is that he has a significant amount of Hp more than the last opponent. He doesnt even have any really good weapons except for a Freezing Potion and the usual Jade Scorchstone which is an addition to his high Hp. He has a Rancid Battle Dung which does 11 icons 6 Earth and 5 wind so if you use Burrow it will do 0 dmg all his weapons are like that and that is why he is so easy. He also has Vile Swamp Water which does 3 Water and # dark icons and may give ur pet Watery Eyes but with sink again it will completely negate all dmg. Use the strategy the only difference is people who dont have advanced weapons will have a longer fight. When you are done collect your cool looking Golden Clam Trophy.
