In the shadow of the 206-foot stainless steel cross of the La Leche Shrine in St. Augustine, Florida, stand 4,000 wooden crosses, one for each child aborted every day in America. The crosses are placed there each year in commemoration of the U. S. Supreme Court decision titled Rowe v. Wade. Some crosses have names placed on them, but most are as anonymous as the all-but-forgotten babies that they symbolize. |
