Just by luck I'm now able to get in touch with the old Nuremberg classmates. Yea God! i really longed to go to a class reunion in 1952 but no contact. But here we are now.
After graduation I taught preschool in Bamberg for a year, then my dad returned to Fort Knox, near our hometown of Louisville. I was a call girl for two and a half years; I mean I worked for the telephone company, Ha Ha. Then I met my husband and we were married at the Post Chapel at the Fort. We have lived in Illinois, Wisconsin, California, and now here in Kansas City for almost 40 years.
God was generous to give us one daughter Mardi and her seven brothers. We have 28 grands and 3 greats, all most beautiful. Who can ask for anything more? One son is in the military, works with NIMA, all the rest live within a 70-mile radius of us.
It's so good to be back in touch with old classmates. I hope to see you soon, Good Lord willing.
