The year 2002 has been another anniversary for me. Ann Wyss (Class of '54) and I will have been married 50 years on October 6th.

When I returned to the U.S., I set out to make my million. After about 5 years, and a half dozen or more jobs, as well as a tour in the Army as a helicopter mechanic, I realized I was nowhere as bright as I originally thought. A lucky break, while selling a car to a telephone company employment office counselor, ended with my getting a job with the telephone company, where I spent the next 30 years in the D.C. area.

Ann and I had 4 great children, 2 boys and 2 girls, and now we have 5 wonderful grandchildren.

I retired to a country setting in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Skyline Drive. We have 60 acres and call the place "Forever Mow". I spent the past 15 years as a school bus driver, and part-time farmer. We have had a good life and hope the same for our classmates.

Thanks for the opportunity to be in touch with the Class of 1952. I'm sure everyone will be delighted to find out a little about what their peer group has accomplished.
