I graduated from Whittier College, Whittier, California (yes, Richard Nixon's school) with a B.A. in Speech/Drama. Married Lt. Richard Thacker who left the Army and went to work for ABC Television in Hollywood. We had two children, Randi Liann and Richard Thacker lll. Divorced in mid 60's.
I went to work for Litton Industries in Industrial Relations and found my calling in personnel work. I had a 29 year career with Litton ending up a corporate officer and Vice President of Human Resources. I have been a director of the Litton Credit Union for 20 years and also serve on the St. Vincent Medical Center Foundation Board. I am active in my church and have served on many committees.
I have two grandchildren who live with my daughter in Bellingham, Washington. My daughter manages a tour company. My son is not married and lives in Los Angeles. He is a 3-D artist and free lances for various special effects studios.
I remarried in 1995 and am recently divorced. I visited our school on a trip to Germany in 1987. Being an "Army Brat" and graduating from school in Germany has always been a source of pride for me.
