so i'm sitting here, just got back to my computer and look there's an e-mail from the facebook. go to check what it says and its all like 'someone has changed your wall!' and im just like 'better go see whats up, could be important', but in truth if anyone ever had something important to say to you they'd never tell you over one of those dumb websites. well at least they e-mail ya. thats what keeps you sucked into the community. whoever got that idea was one smart bastardplug. or one bastardsmart plug. or one plugsmart bastard. anyway you know how you can like declare relationships with someone in your school on there? what a fucking weird thing if you can think about it. never have i seen this before. so if you were to break up with someone, wouldnt the ultimate lamest thing to do in the world be to take them off your facebook list? so instead of in a relation with Tom you now say single. it'll be the hip thing to do for kids.. i bet it'll replace e-mail as the #1 type of breakup communique.

anyway you'll now notice when you come to the site.. it's no longer nukage.tk or nukage.vze.com and its no longer any other address except http://www.nukage.com . so now i'm moving up in the world, gained a little more respect, and showed the world that I care enough about my website to spend actual united states currency on it. so hopefully with that will come more visitors because obviously people will be expecting a lot from a .com address. it means a lot. it's a matter of pride and showmanship to have a .com. and if you really don't give a shit then you can leave, what do i care.

so yeah my only internet-type-community-savvy buddy whitney tells me that my comments are uncool because its difficult to post, even anonymously. ill change it back to the old CommentThis! type comments if that makes you all happier. I really don't care, i'm a selfless human being like that. i care about my visitors otherwise it would be a waste of time to even publish my thoughts on the interwebnet thing.

weekend update

Japanese Drum Machine
everyone should check this out at least once.

the show i went to tonight was amazing. i dont remember all the names of the bands but the most important one was cerberus shoal. i think uconn should be known less for its basketball and more for the insane obscure indie bands we get to play here. let me recap some of the stranger ones

el guapo
cerberus shoal
apse
neptune
ex-models
daughters
an albatross
kayo dot
climax golden twins
probably more that i dont remember the names of

mad max got the cd of the first band (kayo dot) which i really really need to burn. they were one of the most intense bands but at the same time one of the most chill bands i've ever seen. it was a really impressive show, and the kicker was that it was free. we also got indian food which was pretty much the best thing ever. so thanks to whoever's that was. uhh... lots other stuff happenned this weekend but not much i'm at liberty to discuss on this particular place..

...except PALMER MASS SUCKS ASS!!! if you guys haven't seen the fiasco that greg caused the other night, go read it, it's hilarious. not to be outdone by the rebuttal however. as for other catchphrases of the weekend, YOU THE MAN NOW STEVE and EH! STEVE made appearances as well as FIREBUSH and FLAVA FLAVE!

rock the what?

I hope everyone's having a superb weekend by now. Mine has been pretty decent, can't really complain.

MTV's Rock the Vote was here yesterday with Shane and Veronica from Road Rules. They talked about some issues but it was basically completely one sided. For instance Shane would be like Hey I'm gay, what do you guys think of gay marrage? Because I think it should be legal. Anyone who actually tried to disagree with them would get shot down immediately and they were so pro-kerry that it didn't really matter. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing but if Rock the Vote is actually Rock the Deomcratic Vote in disguise I feel kind of fooled. Not exactly sure why I went in the first place but it was somewhat entertaining. Somewhat.

I've been playing around with different desktop themes as usual and I've decided to give Litestep another try. The good thing about it is that it's so damn fast and stable so I really can't complain about that. I did some fractal art which came out really well that everyone should check out.

as for partying, this weekend will probably have tons. ain't nothin' wrong with that.

c'mon ruff rydahz

new art on my deviantart page+ icon + website button. the new image is basically concept art for the hardcore/metal project that I started doing with greg and josh but never finished because Live stopped working for no reason. yeah it's kind of scary. so it works really well.

new music on the music page that I never really put up on this site but I've put up other places. I just realized there was like no rock stuff that i'd recorded up there. there's also new links if you notice...

people need to start commenting on the site. i know people are coming, because i see the hit counter going up, but i dont know who these people are. having 50 some hits in the half-a-week that the site's been up isn't too bad at all. if you dont wanna have to register or something, tell me thats the case and i'll bring back the old commenting system but then you won't get the comments in the little expandy thing anymore which would be sad because that's a really cool hack I did.

Cultural Orgasm

Macaulay Culkin Arrested

that stoner.look at his eyelids.

President Bush singing Sunday Bloody Sunday

this is awesome. and hilarious.

Oh yeah check out prefuse 73 if you have never heard them. they're this experimental hip-hop group. a lot of their songs are instrumental only so this isn't normal hip-hop at all. they're on warp records (alongside AFX and Autechre) so you know they're "legit".

also if anyone has a copy of the new dj dieselboy album please let me know. i need to hear that thing.

Descisions descisions.

The past few days have been crazy, especially last night. Hit up some party. I think it was awesome although I don't remember much. the stories shared this morning were probably the highlights of the night. whitney's spacebar is dying, derick getting sick from sweets, the slew of people I introduced myself to and tried really hard to remember their names.. yeah.

Been drawing a lot lately. I want to continue working on my art for a bit. submitted some stuff to deviantart. all i want to do with my life is take easy classes and party on the weekend and work on my music/art in my free time. and have no job. life is good.. don't know how much I'll be able to continue living like this.

ticking clock berserker

Did some more work on the page today. Check out the fucking comments and new music page. I'm also almost done with the 'about' page. I'm wayy tired though so I'll keep this short. class was excrushiatingly boring today. Just watched clerks, damn I can see why its a cult classic. speaking of cult classic anyone else seen that scarlet music video? its on www.ferretstyle.com i think. Watched some of the clerks cartoon as well which kicks a bunch of ass.

listened to the newest haste the day cd today as well. given my disappointment of the latest 2 zao albums, haste the day are kind of like my zao replacement because the singer of htd sounds like dan from zao.

right now greg is doing jumping jacks while listening to ludacris which isn't the worst thing in the world but it's certainly not the best. It's scary actually.

Site resurrected from the ashes

give me a because the new layout is mainly done. I'm gonna do some nicer stuff with the layout graphic but all the coding is done. This site's way simpler than the former version and emphasises the news more (obviously). so you should visit here.

If anyone still reads this...

Once again I am growing tired with my page layout... plus I never update the damn thing. I (once again) am doing a new blog.. but this time it'll be my final real website with my music news, art news, and just random stuff from my life. what parties were good at uconn? which hardcore bands should you be listening to? funny news and videos? maybe i'll have all of these things. I have lots of creative energy for making websites. I'm thinking of having forums and a java mp3 player as well.

yeah. if you're one of my livejournal buddies i think i'm gonna make that friends only and have all my random rants/stupid shit on this page/wherever the new page is.

anyway i guess i'm just gonna go around and try to get ideas for a new layout right now. i want to get away from the technology-inspired clean looking layout I have right now, maybe something gritty. I might never actually get around to doing any of these things, but in case I do I wanted to tell everyone beforehand..
