Traveling the universe

Whats up people?! Not much going on except I did a new track last sunday. Wrote and recorded a song with guitar, bass, drums and vocals: regular rock style. Speaking of which I'm currently looking for a new guitar if anyone knows any good deals. I'm definately thinking about getting a new Kramer guitar from http://www.musicyo.com . I've read nothing but great things about them and the one I've played (derick's) has most awesome action and a pretty good tone.

Also I recieved my new M-Audio Audiophile in the mail yesterday. I haven't gotten time to try recording anything with it yet, but when I do I'll probably post the results here. For you who don't know what that is, it's a professional audio PCI card for a PC or Mac that allows high-quality recording and playback. Fun stuff. You can basically record studio-quality sound with it so expect some stuff utilizing that coming out in the near future. Now all I need is a Behringer mixer...

Well my parents are gone for the weekend and I just watched a zombie movie... ZOMBIES!!

by the way for those that actually read this site and wonder why I don't update more, I do have a livejournal that I update regularly.. take a wild guess what my username on there is. that's the only hint you get.

oh yeah by the way..... my new favorite song of the week is dance commander by electric six

featured song on Music.Download.Com

As it turns out, I'm starting to get some recognition on the internet. Music.download.com has written this tidbit about me and featured my song on their front page as an editor's pick.

Soundtrack I Wrote To The Beat
By: NUKAGE

"An eerie cinematic intro slowly rolls its way toward the heart of the beast as the drums pile up and push through a chaotic landscape of bass, tech stabs, and hip-shaking grooves. Tom Havok, a.k.a. NUKAGE, drops a hyper-driven tech-step jam that builds into a twisting, filtered soundscape."

-Cnet Music.Download.com

Of course if you don't have this song yet, you can get it from the Music page, along with several other new songs which I though deserved just as much fame. Currently soundtrack has over a thousand downloads from music.download.com with 800 last week. holy crap that's more fingers than I have.
