"How long has
volksmarching been around?" Donna Seline
celebrates 37 years this spring. She serves as
NSTT PR Chair. She's holding her Above & Beyond
Award, given to retiring board members, officers
and outstanding club volunteers.

Lora
Plain is the 'transient' of the NSTT board,
taking off every fall with Rob in their RV to
travel around the country visiting friends, family
and many new places in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
She and Rob are charter members of the club and
served on the state park reorganization committee
that formed NSTT.

Bruce
Gravelle is NSTT's Trailmaster. Besides trails,
he's in charge of food and just about anything else
that needs to be done. He and his family, Sue and
Jennifer, have become well known fixtures at NSTT
events pitching in wherever help is
needed.

Peter
Cartwright is serving as our new President. He
has been a hard working board member for several
years and has graciously stepped up to the plate to
lead the organization for a few years.

Darlene and
Bernie Hanson have been in Volksmarching since
1990. They especially enjoy the State Parks
and walks there. They have been visiting
the State Parks since they moved to
Minnesota and have visited almost every
one. They want to help the club and
count the people in the club as their very
special friends. Bernie is now serving as NSTT's
new Vice President.

Don Husnik
and his wife, Marilyn, were lured into NSTT by
Rob and Lora Plain. They've lived in many states,
but came back to Minnesota to retire. In their
quest to visit all the state parks, they joined
NSTT. Now they're members, willing volunteers and
Don is one of our newest board members and is now
serving as its new Treasurer.

|
Linda Valen
completed her first volksmarach at Minneopa
State Park in 1989 and she's been participating
ever since. She is an avid traveler throughout the
U.S. and Canada. She's been a member of NSTT and
been supportive and willing to volunteer. She is
now serving as our new Secretary.

How many clubs
have an official club mascot? Well, NSTT does!
Jennifer Gravelle, is always ready to help
out at the registration desk to make sure everyone
signs the back of their card and pays their fees!
She also contributes valuable ideas to the board
about how to attract and keep more families
involved in folkssporting.

Behind every
great Web site, there's a talented Webmaster. In
the case of NSTT.org, that would be David
Hunt. David spent countless hours setting up
the NSTT site in its first few years and NSTT
thanks him for his hard work.
Here David
accepts the NSTT Above & Beyond Award to him
and his wife, Cheryl, for their work on the NSTT
Board of Directors.
