Helping your children with homework can be difficult, especially when they are studying something you are not familiar with. But you can help - provide a quiet place to study, read their homework and reports, ask questions about their school work, listen to them practice a presentation, or a speech, participate in school events and make an effort to take advantage of all the wonderful things our city has to offer with your children. Your interest and participation shows them how much you care, and that is the greatest help of all. Check the Student Page for links to homework help. |

Do you know what an IM is? INSTANT MESSAGE! Instant Messaging is how many students, and others, chat with each other on the web. Popular messaging programs are provided by AOL (AIM), Yahoo, MSN and many more. They send messages directly from one computer to another and do not use email accounts. These chats are rarely recorded on the computer. Does your child use instant messaging? Ask them, and find out what it's all about. Click here for more information about safe surfing. |
