Our Mission

The North Georgia Highland Brigade Pipes and Drums is a non-profit, non-political, organization formed for the purpose of giving persons, with a similar interest in Celtic traditions, an opportunity to meet, learn, and to preserve these traditions for posterity.

Although the original component of the Brigade consist of a Pipe and Drum Corps, plans are to eventually incorporate Scottish Highland Dancers; a Color Guard; Scottish Highlander Reinactors, and other relevant activities.

Meetings and Practice

We meet and practice every Monday night in the Parish Hall of the Our Lady of Mountains Catholic Church (at the intersection of Hwy 108 and Refuge Rd; Pickens County, Jasper, GA 30143).
 
Individual contingents also meet at other locations and at different times.  Please call for details.

Our History

The North Georgia Highland Brigade Pipes and Drums was established on June 8, 2006, in Pickens County, Jasper, Georgia, and is under the musical direction of P/M Wayne Carmichael.
