American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Patient Assistance Program

Created by ASHP, this site provides comprehensive information concerning patient assistance programs and the use of these programs to increase medication access.  (ASHP is the 30,000-member national professional association that represents pharmacists who practice in hospitals, health maintenance organizations, long-term care facilities, home care, and other components of health care systems. ASHP, which has a long history of medication-error prevention efforts, believes that the mission of pharmacists is to help people make the best use of medicines.)

The Partnership for Prescription Assistance offers a single point of access to more than 275 public and private patient assistance programs, including more than 150 programs offered by pharmaceutical companies.
