A simple image with a whole mess of detail. My first use of Poser (now owned by Curious Labs). This is the Poser3 male head, with (among others) the "Abe Lincoln" morph from Morph World, and lots of tweaking of the basic Poser dials. It being solid stone, it would have had "Orphan Annie" eyes -- so I borrowed from the Greek sculptors and drilled little holes for the irises. |

The rest of the models are mine. This is actually an instructive image in several ways -- that is, it has a couple nice examples of how things can go wrong. Notice the shadows. Notice how they curve nicely around the shapes of the transformer? That is real geometry; the transformer body is a Bryce lattice. Notice, however, how they lie flat on the rear wall. That is because the rear wall uses only a bump map. Worse, careful examination will show not just that the back wall is flat, but that it is faceted; those betraying shadows reveal the polygons of the model as well. |

Then there are the pixels on the floor. Toob provided a wonderful floor texture, but in the final image I scaled it just a little too big; you can see the pixels on it. |
