Two-in-one hand routines

columns.jpg (5770 bytes)A key move in many three ball tricks is to master two-in-one hand tricks. Less is more, more or less. How many variations can there be? Three or four depending on how you count.

First is Columns. Pretty easy, The balls travel in two paths up and down like two elevators in their respective shaft. Straight up and down, up and down. As you can imagine, you hand is moving from side to side to do each throw.

Second is round-and-round. As the name implies, the balls chase each other round-and-round in little oval shaped paths. Try going round clockwise for a while and then work on counter-clockwise for a while. What fun!

The last method is forks or a fork that is. One ball goes up and down in the middle whilst the other takes a U shaped pattern on each side of it. Sorta like a three tined pitch fork or a trident. Practice this in one hand, then with the other. Looks great when you get all four going at once in this pattern.

Once you are familiar with these tricks using either hand, try to work them into the pattern while you are juggling three.
