The Light -Paintings I make with the Seeing With Photography Collective, are not the only work. Here is a small selection of other 2 dimensional work,influenceced by many artists, themes and ideas,light painting among them. Most of the work here is traditional oil or acrylic, but many are Monotypes, a single print on paper made by painting on a sheet of plexiglass and firmly transfering the painted image into the damp paper. Brustrokes and scratched lines and textures are retained when the print is pulled away from the plate. Usually they are further modified with pastel.
