Here the links to my stories which are available on-line.  They are listed in order of quality, with the ones I think are the best at the top.

"Limitations on Hopitality" was first published in the Summer 2000 issue of Fantastic Stories of the Imagination. It has been re-printed in October 2002 by SUCCESS by DESIGN (SBD) SF&F e-zine, http://www.motordoc.net/sf&f/. This story, which may be my best, shows the likely result of an alien space ship landing in the modern United States: a lawsuit.

"Myth is Dead! Long Live Myth!" won first place in the Aphelion Webzine (http://www.aphelion-webzine.com) Return of King Arthur Story Contest. King Arthur returns to fight for the British at the WWI Battle of the Somme in 1916. All of the characters in the story, except Arthur, are real people who were at the battle. To see more about the real William Makinson, visit http://memorabilia.homestead.com/home.html, an excellent page put together by his great-grandson.

"Following Little Cat Feet" is a short-short story of about 500 words published in AntipodeanSF, http://www.antisf.com/ in August 2000. It was inspired by my cats and the poet Robert Frost.

"A Suitable Punishment" was first published in 1999 in the now-defunct e-zine All Mixed Up.  The story won first place in a contest for stories not using the word "the."

"A Loving Monster among Monstrosities" was first published in the February 2000 issue of the now closed e-zine Fantasy, Folklore and Fairytales. It was the first story I got paid for and still one of my favorites.

"Curses" was published in May 2002 by Anotherealm.com. The story is my entry in a contest to write the story for a picture of a skeleton riding a bike near a lake.

"The Bargain" was published in the January 1999 issue of Aphelion Webzine of Science Fiction and Fantasy (http://www.aphelion-webzine.com). It involves an old man and a dying dragon who try to deal with the losses of their lives.

"Not for You to Decide" is another story published in Aphelion. This February 2001 publication is an Arthurian story with a different twist on the nature of Merlin.

The Gus stories
The following stories all involve the same main character, an old wizard named Gus who must battle against not only trolls and magic, but also his fading eyesight and hearing.

"A Powerful Reputation" was also published by anotherealm, this one in January 2004, as part of a contest on Super Heroes. It won third place in the contest,

"The Crystal Sphere" was published  in 2004 by anotherealm as part of a contest on projects.

"Troll Invasion" was published in October 2003 as part of anotherealm's invasion contest.

Two other Gus stories are not presently available on-line.  "Saving the Village" was published in the September 2003 issue of Writershood.com. It is my shortest published story at 125 words.  "Bad for Business" was published in Maelstrom, Volume IV, Issue 3 (http://www.geocities.com/~readmaelstrom//), September 2003.
