The Jewish Historical Society of Southern California

Jewish Historical Society, a nonprofit organization founded in 1952,
preserves and creates awareness of the unique history and legacy of the Jewish
community of Southern California.
JHS sponsors Tours of Jewish Los Angeles and the West; special exhibits,
publications and educational programs, and the Jewish Community archive, which
safeguards photographs, oral histories and documents chronicling 150 years of
Jewish life in the Southland.
