AVP WORKSHOP SCHEDULE

Currently all of our Workshops are held in state prison facilities. We frequently have particpants from the out side community join us for these workshops and welcome you to participate. While the past is not a guarentee of the future, noone has been in danger during our 20 year history, in part because inmates appreciate our workshops so much. Click on the AVP button to learn more about the content of our workshops.

Participants must begin by attending our Basic Workshop. We recommend that you follow that with our Advanced Workshop. If you wish to become a volunteer facilitator, you may take the Training for Facilitators (T4F) Workshop after the Basic or the Advanced. You must participate in an Advanced Workshop before helping to facilitate one. Following completion of the T4F Workshop, you will be an apprentice facilitator for at least three workshops and then you may apply to be a facilitator.

For 2009, we plan to have Basic Workshops in the months of January, February, March, May, July, Septmeber, and November.

Advanced workshops are expected to be held in March, and April.

Training for Facilitators workshop should be held in May and June.
