Our Mission

New Foundations Nonviolence Center (NFNC) is a Colorado-based Not-for-Profit Corporation dedicated to empowering people within the criminal justice system in Colorado to make positive life changes for the betterment of themselves, their families and the community at large.

Our Programs

For over twenty years, NFNC has provided inmates in Colorado prisons with training in community building, cooperation, communication and creative conflict resolution through the Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP), informal counseling and referral to community resources to jail inmates through the One-to-One Inmate Visitation Program and, more recently, support to jail inmates by telephone through the Inmate Telephone Support Program.
