- This sculpture was created using low-fire terra cotta and acrylics. The seated woman expresses the artist's feelings about cancer and its effects... on the cancer patient and on their friends and relatives. The victim of cancer, in this instance, was the artist's mother, who died shortly after this piece was finished.
The above image shows the front and back of the sculpture. The sculpture's base is relatively trapezoidal. Its approximate dimensions are: 16.5 x 12.25 x 14 x 7 inches, with a height of about 15.5 inches.
