For these men and women while in the service of their country, were willing to give up all of their tomorrows to ensure that we Americans can enjoy all of our todays. May these veterans rest in peace. The burial service includes: our gravesite prayer, a three round volley rifle salute, the playing of taps, and the folding and presentation of the American Flag, to the widow(er), or other family member or friend.
This creed was composed by one of our organization members, and reads as follows.
Veterans Creed
Dear Lord,
Please grant us Military Veterans
Respect, strength, health
And help us lay to rest with honor
our departed veterans
and carry on with compassion,
to ease the pain and sorrow
for the families of our not forgotten
veteran brothers and sisters
throughout the world.
Amen!
