My apoligies to all as it has proven tough to keep up on the page, with all of the other duties and just life in general,
but I do not want to make excuses, and promise to make a better effort, as I know at this point some of this page is out of
date.
I want to speak a bit about conduct, military bearing, and setting a proper example.
It is absolutely critical as a member of the Civil Air Patrol, US Air Force, US Army, US Marine Corps, US Navy, US Coast
Guard, or any other service that you choose to join (yes, there are others) that you set a proper example in public.
When you sign on, everyone sees you in the uniform, and knows what it stands for. You are different from other
members of society and are expected to set the example for others to follow, both in thought and deed. When one person
is out of line, it looks bad on everyone, and no matter what the Service tries to do to regain a good reputation, it is a
hard road.
End of the story is this, watch what you do and say, and the way I always check myself is this "would my family
be proud of me if they saw me doing this or learned of it?" If you stay within those guidlines, you will most likely
come out ok.
Remember, there are a whole list of folk that are willing to help in any situation for you doing nothing more than
asking for assistance.
