ND08 Event Itinerary
Alumni Pre-Meet
Friday, August 1st
Noon-6pm
-alumni and their guests meet at V's house
-upon arrival, cast members will fill out and sign their
participation agreements.
-Cast decides weather or not they will caravan out to the Shoot
Location
7pm
-cast either caravans to shoot location OR hangs out at V's or some
other local venue with air conditioning.
-if cast caravans to shoot location, they will pre-set up camp.
ND08 Main Event
Saturday, August 2nd
2pm-4pm
-EVERYONE meets up at the Super Secret Meeting Place™
-Might as well grab some lunch while everyone waits for Trevor(...unless he flaked out again)
-Make friends with all the people you'll see naked, and will see you
naked, in just a few hours
3pm at the Super Secret Meeting Place™
-Official ND Meeting Begins
-Introductions of Staff
-overview of event
-discuss rules and expectations
-Staff Answers questions
-Model Release & Guidelines Signing
3:45 pm
-Trevor shows up(flake flake flake)
-ND CAST Leaves the Super Secret Meeting Place™
-Follow the naked convoy to the event area
-Arrive at the site with the Becky already running around naked, (and
possibly a few others this year eh?)
4:15-5PM
-Everyone quickly sets up their camping gear with one hand and takes
off their cloths with the other
-Camp gets set up by 5pm
5PM
-Photographers begin shooting images promptly at 5PM!
-run around the rocks & get as many shots as possible before sunset
-ideas planned for 2008: The Tribe, petroglyphs
7pm
-Prepare for Sunset images.
-Cast gathers together for Sunset group shots
7:50pm
-Sunset
-Photoshoot continues with Sunset silhouettes and Dusk and dark images
-Moon rises at 7:22 AM and sets at 8:46 PM
-This is our first year with no full moon, New Moon Friday, August 1,
2008 at 3:12 AM
-Temperature will be high 99 and low 65.
9PM-Sleep
-break for DINNER
-Time for someone to build the bonfire
-Someone else breaks out the UV paint, paintbrushes, and starts
painting people
-Birthday Party for July birthdays, more pictures!
-As people finish eating, photographers continue shooting images
-someone brings out the glow sticks and flashlights and we shoot
images in the dark by light painting
-Hopefully Trevor brings the Green Ganesha around so we can use the
inverter and we shoot Mike's WTF image
-Firelight shoots happen...does anyone else smell burnt body hair?
-Firelight parasol silhouettes?
-shadow theatre! More pictures?
-As we run out of picture ideas it's time to hangout, eat snacks, and
stargaze
-Bring your chair near the fire or lie down on the communal tarp with
your blankies and relax
-Have a deep meaningful conversation with your new naked friends
-tell jokes and stories and reminisce about past Naked Desert events
-Sleep? WE DON'T NEED NO SLEEP!...well maybe a little
4:30-5AM
-Wake Up Call
-coffee anyone?
-grab left over snacks and munch
-partial teardown and pack up
6:01AM Sunrise!
-sunrise pics, Group Shot
7AM
-Ahhhh! It's the sun! run!
-Time to pack up all the camping gear
-Last chance for a few photos in the sunlight
-make sure the desert is as beautiful and clean as when we arrived!
-We jump in our cars and peel out before we spontaneously combust!
8AM
-Caravan of now clothed Naked Desert Cast members meet at a local
diner for breakfast.
Approximately 9AM
-Time to say goodbye to all your new best friends and try to drive
home without falling asleep
DRIVE SAFELY!
-air conditioned crash space is available for all who did not get
enough sleep at the event and need to catch a couple hours before
driving home.
