Small delights.
Two, of Five Healing Poems
What dreams does star-dust dream?
Eucalyptus wind stirred by monarch wings.
The scent of sea-salt sand between your toes.
The spectacle of your silent fire-blue eyes.
Shy devotion fluttering about your rapture.
The color of warm rain in your smile,
seasons within blue waves.
Words cast like sparks, like seeds,
setting flames aglow in furrows.
Sweet high voice, singing in the temple.
Secret textures sliding over desire.
Pebbles gathering intent, listening to each
prayer set into smoky motion.
Soft yellow silk dreams, real within my hands.
Dreams of desire, dreaming.
The taste of you within arms reach.
Water like skin cascades over my lips.
Naked ease striding to greet me,
clothes falling away.
