"In order to improve...the art and practice of falconry among interested persons, we do hereby associate ourselves
as a non-profit fraternal organization, to be known as the Nebraska Falconers’ Association. We further declare that
our purpose is to provide communications among and to disseminate relevant information to interested members, to promote conservation
of the birds of prey...and to establish traditions which will aid, perpetuate, and further the welfare of falconry and the
raptors it employs."

A few feathers in our cap...
Nebraska falconers have:
- Helped restore the once-endangered peregrine falcon to its North American range through captive breeding and release.
- Helped establish an organization dedicated to rehabilitating injured birds of prey.
- Served the falconry community by serving as officers of the North American Falconers' Association (NAFA),
the Wild Raptor Take Conservancy (WRTC), and the International Association for Falconry and Conservation of Birds of
Prey (IAF).
- Written for national and international publications such as Hawk Chalk, the NAFA Journal,
and American Falconry and International Falconer
magazines.
- Helped preserve falconry's heritage through donations of money and historical materials.
- Educated the public about raptors and the role of predators in the ecosystem.
And a few more...
We also serve the sporting community through our day jobs. Nebraska falconers work for companies
