Clemons' Cottage is located on Roanoke Island in the town of Manteo. It is on Budleigh Street, nestled in the historic waterfront area. This charming cottage surrounded with gardens and lawn, was many years ago, relocated to this site from the shores of the Outer Banks. The cottage has two bedrooms, one king-sized, the Carolina Moon Room and one queen-sized, the Wynken, Blynken & Nod Nook. The living room comfort includes cable TV; VCR with a variety of tapes; CD player with a selection of CDs and multi books on the book shelves. The kitchen is complete and the back yard has Adirondack Chairs, for lounging and barbeque supplies and equipment, for casual dining. The cottage is available year round; usually a three night minimum during the months of March through December (but check for possible two night stay). There is a two night minimum during the months of January and February. Clemons' Cottage is convenient and an easy stroll to all of historic Olde Towne Manteo and Roanoke Island Festival Park. The cottage is private and secluded in the midst of the varied activities that might bring you to Roanoke Island ( perhaps a wedding - 3 blocks from the waterfront, the scene for many Island weddings and the Budleigh Street reception hall.) It is short miles to Mallards Marsh, the island's newest and special reception site. A short drive to the Elizabethan Gardens and the Aquarium.
