Delbert L. Johnson, Jr.
Command Chief Master Sergeant, USAF (Retired)

          Command Chief Master Sergeant (CMSgt) Delbert L. Johnson, Jr. was the Aerospace Science Instructor, Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC), NC 802, at Emsley A. Laney High School, Wilmington, North Carolina from 1981 until retiring in June 2002.

          CMSgt Johnson was born in Crossville, Tennessee. He graduated from Clovis, New Mexico High School and enlisted in the United States Air Force on 10 Feb 1954.  He has completed 45 post high school hours.  He is a graduate of the NCO Preparatory School, the Command Academy and the Senior NCO Academy.  He was a career Weapons and Munitions expert with assignments in New Mexico, Germany, Arizona, Maine, Thailand, Guam, Mississippi, North Carolina and Korea.  He retired in July 1981 as the Senior Enlisted Advisor of the 4th Tactical Fighter Wing, Seymour Johnson AFB, Goldsboro, NC.  He is married to the former Brenda Storie and they have two children, Ricky and Lynda.
