plot summary: in 2055 the government or the ELITE is trying to wage war against society using an army of psychics called the Psi Corp, kidnapped teenagers with psychic powers. The ELITE governs society in a near state of martial law. The Syndicate is kidnapping teenagers and turning them into a psychic force to crush the freedom of the people. The Terror Hack, a group of Hackers, banished from society for their political views, and the Packrats, drug-addicted psychic teenagers, left to die after the psychic conditioning by the Syndicate, take over the lower levels of the caste society (The Echelons and The Zone) and battle against the ELITE to take back their freedom and crush the autocratic government.

Takes place in an art college and follows the lives of 4 main characters and a cast of minor characters from freshman to senior year. Explores depression, alcholism, relationships, cutting class, getting sent down, drug overdose, incest, runaways, dysfunctional families, abuse, destruction, art dealers, art shows, writer's block and general rich kid angst crap.

plot summary: Follows Lino's angst through writer's block, painter's block, alchohol block and depression and covers his life, and the suicide of his best friend Victor. In addition, we see the depths of his psychosis from running away to New York city, his breakup with Ann, and his self-destructive relationship with Brett; finally leading up to his gallery show in Soho.

plot summary: Yuki Eiri meets Lino, another writer and has to deal with his new found feelings towards Lino, and his current relationship with Shuichi Shindo. The suicide of Lino's best friend and Eiri's angst over the death of his tutor Yuki Kitazawa, come to a head bringing up painful memories for both parties. Will Tohma stand back and let this play out, or will Shindo step in and force Yuki to finally decide, who he really wants to be with?

plot summary: (Uesugi Eiri) Yuki Eiri's fragile psyche starts to unravel as his feelings for Shindo-kun increase, setting him spiralling out of control and on a drunken post-tramatic bender. As his behavior gets more out of control and his writers block set in, he drifts more into the Yuki personality that leads to a full-on nervous breakdown. The height of his self-destructive behavior, includes assaulting Shindo, crashing his Mercedes, a gun, a switch blade and a bottle of pills.
