The Author's Gettin' Restless
The DJ screamed out to the dance floor, "Jack in, Jerk Off, Tie
one On. Lock and Load my Children" Trance music filled the night as the club kids pulsed to the neon electrons pulsing through
the living brainstem. Good little Packrats, denizens of the down below, riddling past oblivion into cyber chaos and mind stream...
Welcome to Haven 15.
Moaning about Process
Nnny and I are getting ready to post the GRIDSCAN (c)2000 project
site up on Natsukoarts. We are having some "to do" over the layout and how to get the backgrounds and the storyboards up on
the site, but so far its coming along. Right now, the hard part is agents, publishers and other BS , total nightmare. Nnny
has to also figure out how to SPELLCHECK! -- tak!
EXCERPT: GRIDSCAN 0.2
Chapter 2: Zero Tolerance Levels the Past
Mips. The light shown low in the sky cursing
the ground and the smell of the detox night, glaring neon and battle scarred streets of cyber hack and grime. The shadows
held the darkness like an addict held his vile hugging it inside his form. The cold keeping insanity out of his juice decayed
veins. The packrats swam in the night when the darkness descended and the runners ran fast like their transmuted flesh processor
mutated by sex with their keyboard machines and the jacks danced in watt burnout in volts and optic dreams. It was black
out here in the world of the brain dead inductate, the ROM addicts with their gigabyte visions and nine thousand miles of
code-inject files.
Talk to me softly silicon babe and ride on my website of data wet dreams....
So, here is am sitting here supposed to be writing some training
material baout something or other and I can not seem to get past the first page. Is it just lack of inspiration or sheer boredom.
Actually it s probably a little bit of both, and it is not helping that Nny is over here from the other building and sitting
in he visitors cube to my right. This of course makes for some interesting non-work going on. You'd think she would know better
and not come over here.
So neither one of us are going on vacation so by default it makes
for either a writer's paradise or an excuse to come to work and not do anything. I figure II've done enough work for the past
quarter to sit back and try to make up those extra hours from those 70-80 hour weeks from before.
I want to finish writing the "kurai no ame" story on the fanfic
page, but i am having a little bit of trouble trying to get Sanzo past a mental breakdown. I can't figure out where to go
after chapter 5, so i am hesitating putting it up there.
