So I get this email about night monkeys and NNNNNyyyy is like refusing
to tell me what they are so I keep hounding her but she gets all "upitty" and like wont tell me what they are, just that they
are gone. Maybe it's because we are both moving but she says that when she starts class next she is going to make night monkey
animations. Whatever that means! Can we go home now....
Work is so lame and its like 108 degrees or some crap that gets
on my nerves.
yoru zaru wa hatarakimasen dayo.
(night monkeys do not work!)
Nnny writes: So Lino is fighting with the boss
over his latest editorial and they are getting in to it over so stupid crap about metaphores and surrealism. really boring
and he is firin driving me absolutely crazy.
He quit smoking again and I think that is what is totally causing
him to wig out all over the place. Annoying little wanker if I have to say so.
Anyway. More pictures coming on the Photo page
and Lino will get around to updating the "Kurai no Ame" story chapter 4 on the Sanzo page. It's just been
so crazy right now with the moving and work.
We have a meeting with a publisher tomorrow morning and have to
meet with the printer for some baka 4-colour screen posters.
Lino: Urasain da yo!
Nnny: Shut up Lino!
Lino: My boss totally sucks. On some power trip
thing...
Nnny: Go smoke a fag if you are gonna be like that,
huh...
Lino: Shi nen da yo NE!
Nnny: Okay, I am totally revoking your blog priviledges.
pss: he figured out how to program the BUZZLIP "Wild Wild Rock" opening Saiyuki
Reload song into his cheap gov'na Nokia phone, it's pathetic. If I can steal it away from him, I'll put code up on the site
somewhere. Later!
Its not about the Destination, its about the Journey.
If you were to die tomorrow, could you do it with a smile on your face? If you looked back at your life in this very
instance, what would you say -- that you died happy, satisfied. That you had everything you could want and had achieved everything
you would have desired to this very moment.
It is funny, and a laugh about it now, but if I had to, yeah -- right now. I would have a smile on my face. Flipping
your car upside down probably has somethig to do with it... But that is a whole other story that would take way to long to
even begin to go into. I might as well write a novel while I'm at it.
The sky is strange today. Having come to the end of the Gensomaden Saiyuki journey, you realize, as you load SAIYUKI
RELOAD into the machine, that it really is about the journey, not about them ever really getting to the West -- though you
hope on day they might.
I bought a mahjong set yesterday, and am trying to teach myself how to play so that when my friends and I go to con next
year in our green jeep as "Sanzo Ikko" we can at least play cards, smoke like we mean it, drink literally and figuratively
and also play mahjong.
It's kind of funny if you think about it. Ameliano is in this state of perpetual moving for the past month and it has
been right annoying to go into his current flat and find anything. We had some crap to publish last week and I swear I couldn't
find anything at all in the mess he created for himself.
Right now I think that, for him it is no so much getting to the new place, as it is planning for, actaully not planning
at all, jsut winging it and hoping he gets there. It's kind of funny if you think about it -- that, well... Once day he will
be living in a new place.
After having lived in his current horrendous domicile, you would think anything would be better. I miss New York, and
that was a dump -- at least it had character, that apartment.
Anyway, enough rambling. Lino wants some quality blog-ation time, "kami kinzuru da" (god forbid) we should eat into
his divine majesty's high and mighty center of the universe-ness.
