And pain.
Hurt.
The endless search for HER--

--never finding--

Sinner, believing in purity.
Sinner, protecting purity.
Sinner, going mad with pain.
Pretty face, soft hair, deep eyes.

--where is she--

Green eyes mocking in the mirror,
shatter silver on the ground.
He is cold again, and pain.
Blood trickling down the side of his arm.

--destroyed for me--

Laughter on the outside, a smile.
Inside, a poisoned void.
It is eating him alive.
Sanity growing thinner,
and yet he is the sinner,
the sacrifice made.

--where is she?--

Seeking her image in a hundred faces,
a thousand bodies.
The angel alone who can redeem him.

Feathers of black angels fall,
the ashes of his cigarette.
