Spoilers for book 6, book 9 and beyond of the manga. Stop now; you have been warned. This story is placed in a future (alternate) continuity wherein Sakura finally obtains her full powers as the Card Captor and hence Kero-chan (Cerberus, here) and Yue are both able to maintain their true forms indefinitely. When that happens, Yue's and Yukito's personalities merge. Yaoi/Lime rating. Sweet Snow - Peaches and Cream 2/? by Kristin Huntsman posted October 17, 1999 Smiling into the warmth that embraced him, Yukito opened his eyes. "To-ya?" he asked the blurred figure above him. "Did I black out again?" "You don't remember?" To-ya asked him. "No," Yukito replied. To-ya was holding him still, instead of letting go the way he usually did right after Yukito regained consciousness. It felt nice. "Where are my glasses?" "Just a sec." To-ya reached out and retrieved the glasses from the ground to Yukito's right and handed them to him. "Thank you." Yuki slipped his glasses on. Touya waited. "To-ya, why are you naked?" Yuki asked, eyes wide. "To-ya, why am *I* naked?" Yukito asked, his voice now cracking with fragility. His hand darted out, fast as thought, for the nearest pile of clothing. Touya caught the wrist of that hand, forcing Yukito to meet his eyes. Yuki stared at him, brown eyes sparkling with fear and worry and shame and frustrations unsaid. "It's okay," Touya said, trying to be soothing. Yue had said Yuki might not remember, and that he would have to be gentle with him. "It's okay, Yuki. There's nothing to be afraid of. Do you trust me?" Yuki nodded. "Then don't panic. Nothing wrong has happened, and I wouldn't hurt you, would I? I'd never hurt you, and you know that, Yuki. Never." "I... know, To-ya." Yuki took a few deep breaths, obviously trying to calm himself. It seemed to work, because he then looked up at Touya with stronger eyes and spoke in a voice which did not tremble. "What's going on, To-ya? Why are we both naked? Why are we on the school roof in the middle of the night? Why do I keep blacking out?" Touya released Yukito's wrist. "There are some things I can't tell you, Yuki, at least not yet... but I give you my word that nothing bad is happening to you. And... there's something I need to tell you." It was Touya's turn now to steady himself with a deep breath, before looking back into Yukito's eyes. "I love you, Yuki." That phrase stopped the world, and then restarted it spinning with a furious, joyful heartbeat. And To-ya was blushing but looking determined and maybe his knuckles were a little white but that was okay because everything was suddenly so *right* for Yukito.... He leaned forward the smallest bit, his right hand dropping the shirt it had been grasping and touching To-ya's cheek instead. "To-ya," he whispered in response, "I love *you*." Yukito braved himself and brushed his lips across To-ya's. To-ya didn't fall back, startled, as Yukito thought he might, so that was one clue, and all of their clothing being scattered around was another, and the third was when To-ya kissed him back, soft and deep, his hands resting easily on Yukito's shoulders. When they finally came apart, he pulled back and pouted a little. "My first time, and it was with you, and I don't remember it!" To-ya laughed a little and pulled him close and around so that Yukito was between the other boy's legs, his back warm against To-ya's chest. "It just means that you get a second first time, ne?" "Mmm." Yukito accepted that; there really wasn't much else he could do. "Your first time too, To-ya?" To-ya snorted. "What, do you think I've made a habit of sleeping with every pretty face in the school or something?" He shook his head. "No, but there was Mizuki-sensei...." "Yuki, she and I never even went to first base." Yukito's eyes widened. "Really? And here I thought you were much more attractive than that!" "Yuki," To-ya growled. "Gomen, gomen," Yukito apologized. "But it's nice to know I'm your first." Then Yuki was silent and they stayed like that for a little while longer, just holding and being held, until the night breeze picked up and Yukito shivered. "Maybe we should get going home...?" he asked. "It's getting colder." "Aah," Touya agreed and released him. The fingers of their hands, though, remained interlaced for a moment after Yukito stood while he and Touya looked at one another. Then Yuki smiled and squeezed his hand around Touya's before letting go. Touya smiled too, a little, and reached for his own shirt. He and Yuki dressed quickly, neither looking at the other, which was almost amusing, considering what had happened on that same roof earlier in the evening. And Yue's body was almost the same as Yukito's, with the exception of that hair and those wings.... Touya froze as a thought occurred to him. "Damn," he swore softly, looking at the locked door into the school, "how are we going to get off this roof?" After somehow managing to pick the lock to get them inside the school, he and Yukito had made their way home, first to Yukito's house, where they had parted at the door with a moonlight kiss, and then Touya had continued on his solitary way back to his own house, aware of Yuki's eyes watching him until he turned a corner and was out of sight. He'd managed to sneak back into his room without alerting Sakura or their father, and now Touya lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling. "So, you slept with Yue," a voice commented. Touya nearly jumped out of his skin. As it was, he merely started and turned his head to the side, to the source of the voice. Sakura's "stuffed toy," Cerberus, was sitting on his desk, watching him with calm black eyes and a half-smile on his face. "What do YOU want?" Touya growled. "To find out if it's okay between you and him. Yue isn't as collected as he seems sometimes, and I don't want him hurt. Or you either, 'coz that'd hurt Sakura." Cerberus daintily licked the back of one paw and brushed it over his forehead. "So what happened?" "None of your business." Cerberus shrugged, rather than taking the offense Touya half-expected him to. Then he turned his head to one side and seemed to be listening to the air. "All right, I'll tell him that for you." He looked back at Touya. "Your mom says she understands why you gave up seeing her, and that it's alright. She also says that Yukito's a nice young man, and so's Yue, even if he doesn't seem it all the time, and that she's happy that you've made such a good choice." He yawned. "Myself, I didn't think you had it in you." Ignoring Cerberus' snide comment, Touya sat up and looked at the space of air Cerberus had been addressing. For a moment, he regretted that he could no longer see or hear his mother. "Thank you, Mother," he said softly. Cerberus' head moved, watching Nadeshiko move closer to him. Was that a brush of cool lips across his cheek? "She says that she loves you very much and will always be watching over you." His head slowly swiveled back again, as Nadeshiko went out the window. "Huh, she's gone." He looked back at Touya. "That's a nice mom you got there, though how she ever had a kid like you is beyond me." "Beat it," Touya growled, jerking a thumb at his door. "Nuh-uh," the toy said, "not until you tell me what went on. Not that I want the details of it, mind you... that kind of stuff grosses me out. But I have a responsibility to make sure Yue's okay, so I need to know that things'll be alright." Touya glared at him and he glared back at Touya. "Do you have something against me and Yue?!" Touya finally demanded. "What? Oh, you think that 'coz you're both...." Cerberus rolled his eyes. "Look, I don't care about that, I don't care if you're a three-legged purple mule from outer space. If you're what Yue wants, then I don't care what size, shape, color, gender, or species you come in. I *do* care about if you care about him or not, if you really love him or not, and if you're going to try your hardest to make him happy or not." "Of course I am!" Touya retorted. "Do you think I'd've done anything with him if I wasn't going to commit myself?" Cerberus shrugged and resumed his grooming. "I dunno. You're a teenage boy, and teenage boys have hormones instead of brains. The brat's going to be a handful in a couple of years, and I'll be expecting your help to keep him away from Sakura and Tomoyo-chan then." "That kid better not get anywhere *near* my sister." Cerberus shrugged. "In any case, your word's good enough for me. Oh, and do me a favor? Take a shower after you sleep with Yue. You reek of him and sex." He left off his washing and flittered out the door before Touya could come up with a retort. Touya flopped back onto his bed and stared at the ceiling for a few minutes. Then he got up and went to the bathroom to shower. The next morning was oddly normal. Touya got up in time to eat breakfast and Sakura didn't. He took off for school and she raced to keep up. He picked up Yuki and they all proceeded to school. It wasn't even different how aware he was of Yukito's hands on him as Yuki clung to him while they turned corners on his bicycle. Then they parted ways with Sakura and she went off to her school and they to theirs and they still hadn't exchanged a word other than hellos. But... he could feel in those hands, the way they held on, that things were still the same as they had been last night. It wasn't a lie; Yuki loved him. The day proceeded on into lunchtime, when he and Yuki always ate together, along with several dozen admirers. Yukito called that part "holding court." Not all of the girls were swooning, either. Touya found that he and Youko had become relatively good friends since that school play he'd been forced to participate in. But of course, Nakuru was there, glomping on to him at every third sentence. He endured that as he had to, and when it finally got to be too much for him, a particularly fierce glare sent her scurrying back to her corner and the safety of the "other" girls. He wondered when and if everyone else would figure out she wasn't a she. "Face it, To-ya, you're just irresistable," Yuki laughed. "Shaddup!" he retorted, embarrassed by the cross-dresser's actions. Yuki just smiled. Youko looked at him, then leaned in close and whispered into Touya's ear, "At least she can no longer interrupt you when you're about to say something important to Tsukishiro-san." Touya nearly jumped. Youko *knew*?! Was he that transparent? "I'm happy for you two," she whispered, smiling, and retreated. There was no censure in her clear eyes. "I think maybe Youko-san knows you better than you know yourself, To-ya," Yuki said thoughtfully. "If I didn't know you so well, I'd almost swear that she just startled you." Touya glared at him, but that bright smile was innocent. The bell to start returning to classes rang, and the girls scattered with waves and chatter, while he and Yuki picked up the "picnic area." "Don't worry so much, To-ya," Yuki whispered beneath their motions, "I think the only reason Youko-san knows is that she does know you so well. She was in love with you for a long time, and now she's one of your good friends... though not so close as I am." Touya made a resolve to find a private time, a private place, and prove that extra closeness. Nakuru ducked back into the shade of a tree and clenched her fist. "Damn!" she swore, unreasonably upset. "He and Yue...!" She ground her teeth in frustration. "I'll find a way to fix this." --To Be Continued-- Author's Notes: I hate Osaka-ben! It's hard to translate, hence hard to write! And as for Youko appearing... well, I liked her in the anime and wanted to write some more about her. I hope you all liked the chapter!
