MARY KAY MORAN R.N., M.N.
Professor of Nursing
Mary Kay joined the Pierce College Nursing Faculty in 1995 as a “long term sub” teaching advanced medical-surgical
concepts to fourth semester senior students. Since 1997, she has taught full time and brings her passion and dedication
for nursing to the educational arena.
She has taught in all four semesters, along with clinical at several San Fernando Valley hospitals. In Fall 07,
once again she began teaching seniors in N 414 Adult Health Care IV. “In every semester, there are unique and
special challenges for the student, and I’ve enjoyed watching and contributing to their learning as they develop and
grow into health professionals”.
Mary Kay’s professional interests include curriculum strengthening and development; hobbies include tole painting
and traveling with her daughter.
