* Her interest in art began as a child. Having parents who met while working in the design
studio at Mohawk Carpet Mills in Amsterdam NY, art was often the topic at the kitchen table. Nancy says she remembers
a set of paints called Alpha Color Biggie Brilliants. " They sat on a shelf and having them available was like having
a magical friend always there waiting for you."
* Working as an art teacher for 20 years she
delighted in sharing her love of art with others. She graduated from SUNY in Buffalo. NY and has a Masters
Degree.

Nancy attended many workshops and also studied in Canada, at Bates College, Bennington College and Johnson
Vermont. She has shown her work in NY State, Connecticut, and more recently in Portsmouth NH. She has won numerous
prizes and awards for her work. She has a studio in Rollinsford NH which has open studios in the Spring and Fall.
