Our Mission Team begins with the prayers, encouragement, and
support of the community of Peace Lutheran Church and Charlottesville.
Dr. Nancy, Pastor Greg, Eric, Sarah, Sam, Debbie,
Rita,
Nancy T., Annie, Bettina, Dave & Ruth --
twelve members of our community "stretching their
comfort zone" to work alongside the people of Honduras. The mission team is excited! We hope that you are, too!
How can YOU be a part of our team?
- Support us, individually and collectively, through prayer.
- Support us with encouragement, in fellowship and worship.
- Support the work of the mission team financially.
Prayer Concerns:
- That God provide the mission team with health and strength, sensitivity
to culture, effective medical mission, joy in all circumstances, team unity, evangelism opportunity, and spiritual growth.
- That the people of Honduras may know of God's love and care for them
through the work of His church, that the medicine and care brought to them through this mission gives them comfort and hope.
- That Peace Lutheran Church, the Virginia Synod, and the ELCA have
the vision and resources to do mission, spread the Gospel, reach out to others in our local, state and world community lesss
fortunate, share our blessings, and give testimony to God's good grace.
