Board Meetings

The second Monday of the month at 47 Joseph Road, Framingham, MA from 7 to 9 p.m. Members are welcome. We are seeking additional Board members.

Free Education Seminar for Persons Recovering From Mental Illness

 

 

 

The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Greater Framingham (NAMI Greater Framingham) will sponsor a free education seminar on Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) on Sept. 3, 2009

 

Keith Scott, Advocates, Inc. Director of Recovery and Peer Support, and Scott Wennerberg, Peer Support Specialist, Metro Suburban Recovery Learning Community and  a NAMI Greater Framingham Board Member will conduct the seminar.
   

WRAP is a program of self-help skills and strategies that help persons with mental illness achieve Wellness, Stability, and Recovery.  WRAP was developed by Mary Ellen Copeland PhD, author, educator, and mental health advocate.  Her program has benefited thousands of people throughout the world.  We invite you to an introduction of this system that is designed to help persons with mental illness take charge of their wellness.
