Guess what we are now in Massachusetts. We are living in a Hotel until our house is ready for us to move in. We have been in the hotel now for over 3 months! We can hardly wait until we can make the move. We have been up to Main and New Hampshire so far. Actually we were on our way to Portsmouth NH and we got a tad bit lost and ended up in Main, we drove all three states in less than an hour! It still amazes us on the size of America after living in Europe for over 30 years! Well there will be more to write as time goes on and I have the time to update this site! We are now in our house we had built. The town we live in can be found here: http://www.haverhill.com/
Stay tuned as I get ready to scan a few pictures in of our Trip to France. We started in Kaiserslautern and our first stop was Paris. We spent a few hours here and had a really nice lunch at the Louvre. From Paris we headed to Orleans, a really nice little town, we spent the night here. The next morning we hit the road again to spend the evening in Bordeaux, I must say they had the best wine. From Bordeaux we cruised to Biarritz, this little resort town is on the atlantic coast. Here we stayed a week to enjoy the town and to participate in the Harley Davidson HOG Rally. If you have the chance you really should check this town out. Well from here we started our ride home. The first stop on the way was Toulouse, we had a nice late lunch in the town square and spent the night here. The next morning we drove to Montpellier, this is a really nice University Town, lots of old buildings to look at and enjoy. On again the next morning we arrived in Lyon, let me tell you this is the Paris of southern France, this has got to be my most favorite town in France. There is a lot to see here so if you plan on going here you need to spend at least a week to see almost everything. They have excellent restaurants with a wide variation. Well its time to continue on, we drove to Dijon and spent the night here. Well from Dijon it was the trail home. All in all we drove just under 2000 miles on our Tour Glide. It was a really nice trip and the weather actually held up 99% of the trip. Stay tuned for some pictures. CIAO for now.
