Team Lead for a 3-person software configuration management team 
implementing a software configuration management program using ClearCase.

- Provided day-to-day ClearCase administration and support for all teams, 
  including answering user questions, moving VOBs to new servers, creating 
  VOBs for new projects, splitting VOBs, coordinating upgrades and 
  installations with IS, and troubleshooting problems
- Implemented MultiSite across WAN to 5 sites, including California, North
  Carolina, the UK and Japan
- Provided for MultiSite problem solving and maintenance.
- Defined and documented a consistent process that is used by all teams
- Established an extensive set of CM Web pages documenting CM policy, 
  procedures, instructions, and status.
- Provided training for teams coming into ClearCase
- Wrote C-shell scripts to automate the process
- Performed routine, controlled software and documentation builds
- Created software and documentation packages based on controlled builds 
  for CD production
 
1995 - 1996	Process/Systems Engineer

Lead designer designing the graphical user interface (GUI) for the XStream 
System. This system is an automated configuration management system in the 
same class as Clearcase, and PVCS.  It combines problem reporting and 
tracking, change control, file and release management into a single 
integrated system.
 
- Authored requirements for the XStream product line and XStream-CS, an 
  automated civil services system.
- Wrote test plans and procedures for Xstream.
- Wrote and edited XStream customer documentation.
- Wrote customized C-shell scripts for XStream and XStream-CS.
- Provided software quality assurance to customers.
- Published articles in Cross Talk.

1987 - 1995	CM Engineer
                LOCKHEED MARTIN CORP., Syracuse, NY
 
Key member of the team that implemented and supported the SPR/SCR System. 
This system provided a fully automated solution to software configuration 
management that was flexible enough to be used  on any of Lockheed Martin
software development projects.
 
- Wrote the requirements for the SPR/SCR system which was the predecessor
  of XStream.
- Defined and documented software configuration management processes and 
  procedures.
- Wrote C-shell scripts to support automated configuration status 
  accounting and automatic population of software build areas.
- Wrote report generators in SQL like language to extract data from the 
  SPR/SCR system.
- Served as the Software Quality Assurance lead and backup lead on the 
  Over-the-Horizon Radar and Submarine Combat Systems programs.
- Defined the requirements for tools to support change control within the 
  major program databases implemented in Ingres.
 
 
1982 - l987	Software Configuration Analyst

As Software Quality Assurance and Configuration Management lead on the 
Marine Air Traffic Control and All-weather Landing System (MATCALS), 
developed, documented and implemented the SQA/SCM programs.
 
- Led a 9 person SQA/SCM Team.
- Developed a MAPPER database for tracking problem reports.
- Designed and directed in-house development of an automated configuration management system.
 
1978 - 1982	Computer Scientist

- Rewrote man-machine interface specifications.
- Programmed 25% of the tactical data link software.
- Coded 4K-certification module in less than 6 weeks.
