My dear and valued clients and friends, many of you have contacted me regarding hurricane Katrina.
I want to insure you that both my dog Bageleh and I are safe.
We stayed for the storm and left about a week later for California.
We have since returned to our apartment in the French Quarter.
The French Quarter received some wind damage, but it did not flood.
The French Quarter is up and running and open for business! Most restaurants and shops are open and the tourists are
coming back to visit our city.
Visit us this Carnival season and enjoy the Mardi Gras. Parades
will be rolling Sat, and Sun Feb 18th and 19th(Barkus, the dog parade will parade though Jackson Sq. Sun. 19th ). More
parades will be held Thurs Feb. 23 through Mardi Gras day Feb. 28. Book your hotel now--rooms are going fast!
You can still get those beignets at Cafe DuMonde or listen to Jazz and have dinner at the Palm Court or sip on those
hurricanes at Pat O'Brian's or visit the French Market.
Grayline Tours and Haunted History Tours are also up and running. Take a tour of the planations on the River Road or a
guided tour through the Garden District.
As for me, I am once again reading Tarot and Palms on Jackson Square. I will also be doing readings on line and over
the phone.
So come back, enjoy yourselves and help our enconomy recover.
If you are interested in a reading, or are coming to New Orleans, please contact me by e-mail by clicking on the "Contact
Sharon" link on the menu bar at the top of this page.
All good wishes to all of you and Happy Mardi Gras!
Sharon and the Mystic Bageleh
